Big Data Developer

We are currently seeking a talented Big Data Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE, within the Information Technology (IT) & Telecommunication industry. As a Big Data Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing large datasets to derive meaningful insights and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop scalable and efficient data processing systems.
2. Manage and maintain big data infrastructure and storage systems.
3. Identify and implement data collection methods to gather relevant information.
4. Perform data cleansing, transformation, and integration to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
5. Develop and implement data models and algorithms for data analysis and visualization.
6. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to identify business requirements and data analysis needs.
7. Develop and implement strategies for data security, privacy, and compliance.
8. Monitor and optimize big data infrastructure for performance and scalability.
9. Stay updated with the latest big data technologies and industry trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Big Data Specialist or a similar role in the IT industry. Strong knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Apache Kafka). Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala. Experience with data storage and querying technologies (e.g., HBase, Hive, SQL). Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Understanding of data governance and data management principles. Experience with cloud-based big data solutions is a plus. Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
