Control and coordinate overall activities of product specifications, technical design, ordering process with Principals, costing and pricing of the products, market segmentation, inventory management, body builder specifications, body builders selection, body builders negotiation, quality inspection of the superstructure supplied by body builders and supply chain of units.
Job Responsibilities
Design the product specs along with the manufacturer and sales team according to the market needs
Continuous revision of product range specification, quality, Manufacturing defects to ensure product development
Study the new technology requests from customer and coordinate with the principal to understand what can be offered
Study Tender documents, coordinate with the principal and partners to fulfill the tender technical and commercial submission
Coordinate with different body builder to get quotes and technical specs to match with customer requirements.
Select the right body builder based on technical, quality and commercial needs
Review the design and fitment of the superstructure over chassis and ensure it follows the principal body builder instruction
Issue work orders to body builders and follow up delivery timeline
Inspect the final product supplied by body builder to ensure high quality and guidelines have been followed
Coordinate between the sales team and workshop to ensure sold units are ready after performing the PDI and the necessary preparation according to the sales agreement.
Manage the inventory of each brand and ensure inventory efficiency
Work with the manufacturer in any new technology or new product launch
Work with existing and new manufacturer to develop any gap in the product
Help in setting the necessary product training required for sales team and coordinate with Competence development manager and principal

Qualifications
Bachelor Degree preferably mechanical or Automobile engineer
Experience
Min of 10 Years of CV product management experience
Knowledge & Skills
Technical knowledge — Deep knowledge of Commercial Vehicles technical specifications
Supply chain – good knowledge and experience in managing orders, inventory and logistics
