Manager Special Projects Performance

The Manager Special Projects & Performance role is part of the regional Chief Business Office organizational structure. The role involves analyzing talabat's business performance, preparing data-driven insights for senior management, conducting in-depth market analyses to unlock top-line and bottom-line opportunities, leading special projects, and ensuring talabat is on track to hit PnL targets.

What's On Your Plate

This role will help drive strategic projects and generate insights for the business. The individual will be working very closely with senior management and be responsible for four main scopes:

1. Reporting Business Performance:

   1. Analyze Data: Dive into talabat's performance metrics, identifying key trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

   2. Prepare Reports: Create comprehensive and insightful reports for senior management highlighting key drivers of change and actionable insights.

   3. Communicate Findings: Present findings in a clear and concise manner, often translating complex data into understandable recommendations for decision-makers.

2. Conducting Analytical Deep Dives:

   1. Country-Specific Analysis: Perform detailed analyses of different talabat markets focusing on identifying turnaround opportunities, growth, and profitability areas.

   2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to understand and address cross-functional issues impacting business performance.

   3. Strategy Development: Develop and recommend strategies based on analysis to improve overall performance and achieve business objectives.

3. Special Projects:

   1. Launching New Products: Develop business use cases with innovative ideas and bring them to life by working on their implementation, ensuring they align with strategic goals and add value to the business.

4. PnL Management:

   1. Budgeting: Collaborate with local teams to develop talabat's yearly budget, setting growth and profitability goals.

   2. PnL Management: Ensure that budgets are adhered to consistently across the organization and proactively identify and pursue opportunities to exceed financial targets and enhance overall profitability.
