Plan, organize and control the overall operations of assigned functional areas, i.e., Goods Inwards, Main Stores, Sub Stores, Tool Stores, Line Maintenance Stores, Outstation Support and Spares Distribution as per the appropriate priority to ensure service level agreements of various maintenance customers are consistently achieved.
Manage the performance of human resources of assigned functional area(s) to achieve optimal efficiency of manpower in warehouse & logistics operations.
Align warehouse & logistics operations with regulatory and Company requirements by development and periodical review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM) and other aircraft maintenance data to ensure conformity and compliance.
Develop business reports, KPIs and other analyses relating to the Warehouse & Logistics processes for monitoring, controlling, identifying process improvements and supporting decision-making.
Communicate and coordinate with internal and external customers in relation to the execution and completion of warehouse and logistics activities. Act as a stakeholder in engineering-wide projects and lead special assignments/projects of the business to meet operational and strategic objectives.
Monitor and control the operational expenditure (including, but not limited to overtime) of assigned functional areas to support the control of annual budgeted expenditure. Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets, by providing inputs on transactional/non-transaction related activities.
Manage staff performance reviews, training and development plan to motivate, upskill and enhance team performance.
Comply with organisational and regulatory policies and procedures by monitoring and managing resources and processes to avoid any non-compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
Engineering. Materials & Stores: 5+ Years
Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent): Experience in Warehouse and logistics experience in a maintenance organization, preferably in an Aviation/MRO environment with minimum of 3 years experience in warehouse and logistics operation in controlling teams.
Knowledge/skills:
Competent knowledge in office applications/systems, warehouse/inventory/ERP systems, business reporting, aircraft/engineering maintenance data, applicable airworthiness regulations and warehouse/logistics best practices.
Having sound knowledge on process improvement and warehouse management systems would be an added advantage.
