Job description

As a Relationship Manager, your role is to acquire, grow, and deepen WM Banking relationships through effective relationship management, with a special focus on the analysis and satisfaction of WM customers, aiming to meet the budgeted volumes. Ensure adherence to the Bank's policies, ethics, and code of conduct.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Drive the team to generate new business to achieve defined sales targets and team targets across assets and liabilities.
  2. Conduct joint calls with team members to increase business, acquire new relationships, and perform daily team huddles and monthly performance reviews as per prescribed guidelines.
  3. Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the team members by setting objectives, identifying development needs, and conducting performance management to manage staff attrition with an aim to optimize performance of every team member.
  4. Build and deepen relationships with existing RAK elite/wealth management customers to achieve an increase in share of wallet and revenues, and assess the quality, potential, and profitability of new relationships as well as the existing portfolio.
  5. Ensure that the service standards of RAK elite/wealth management are met and maintained, and that no undesirable business is sourced. Ensure that team members clear IS certification within the stipulated deadline.
  6. Provide complete information on IS products available on the platform to enable customers to make informed decisions, keep customers updated on current market trends and global economic policies, and provide truly professional customer service to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
  7. Prepare, recommend, and review credit applications for cards, funded and non-funded facilities, ensuring proper documentation and timely draw-down, and manage an incremental portfolio of relationships, liabilities, AUM, and assets.
  8. Advise and promote to customers other products of the bank, refer potential leads, and facilitate maximum conversions while cross-selling different products of the bank to minimize attrition.
  9. Be fully aware of the entire product and service range available and keep abreast of market developments, both global and local.
