The Biology Department at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor position in Forensic Biology. Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct cutting-edge research in forensic biology with the potential to secure external funding.
2. Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate-level courses in forensic biology and related areas.
3. Supervise and mentor students in research projects and theses.
4. Actively participate in curriculum development and departmental service.

Minimum Qualification

Qualifications:

1. A Ph.D. in Forensic Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a closely related field.
2. A proven track record of high-quality post-doctoral research.
3. Evidence of success in securing competitive research grants.
4. Demonstrated excellence in teaching and student engagement at the university level.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualification

1. Experience in forensic DNA analysis and related molecular techniques.
2. A record of publications in high-impact journals.
3. Knowledge of forensic applications in the UAE or GCC region is advantageous.
