Black Pearl is working with a leading client in the UAE who is seeking an experienced and reliable HR Generalist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the day-to-day HR functions with a focus on employee onboarding and general HR tasks except for recruitment. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong understanding of HR processes and UAE labor law to support the growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end process of onboarding new employees ensuring a smooth transition and a positive experience for all new hires.
  2. General HR Functions: Oversee various HR functions including maintaining employee records, HR documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE labor laws.
  3. HR Reporting: Create, update, and maintain regular HR reports using Excel and other HR tools. Analyze and present data to assist in decision-making processes.
  4. HRIS Implementation & Maintenance: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) ensuring the system supports efficient HR processes.
  5. Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures. Address any employee concerns or issues escalating where necessary.
  6. Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with UAE labor laws and relevant regulations.
  7. Training & Development: Support HR initiatives related to employee development and performance management.
  8. HR Documentation: Maintain accurate HR files and records including contracts, performance appraisals, and employee handbooks.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Experience: At least 5 years of total HR experience.
  2. UAE Labor Law Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UAE labor laws and regulations.
  3. Skills & Competencies:
    1. Proficient in Excel and other HR tools to generate and analyze reports.
    2. Knowledge of HRIS implementation and usage.
    3. Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
    4. Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    5. Ability to work independently with a high level of dependability.
    6. Good understanding of HR processes and employee relations.
  4. Location: The candidate should be based in the UAE.
