Job description

The firm offers a wide range of services to commercial real estate users, owners, investors, and developers. These services include consulting, corporate facilities, investment services, landlord and tenant representation, project management, urban planning, property and asset management, as well as valuation and advisory services. Colliers serves a diverse set of sectors including hotel, industrial, mixed-use, office, retail, and residential properties.

Scope

The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge across all project types within the Real Estate Advisory sector. Responsibilities include managing multiple client accounts, maintaining strong industry relationships, and ensuring projects meet client objectives while aligning with Colliers' revenue and profit targets.

Main Responsibilities:

Client and Project Management

  • Establish and maintain key client relationships, define project requirements, and manage expectations.
  • Lead a team to effectively meet client objectives, map out key deliverables, monitor project progress, and maintain organized documentation.
  • Communicate any project variations to clients and maintain strong relationships through effective resolution strategies.

Business Development and Proposal Management

  • Drive new project acquisition by prospecting, identifying client needs, preparing and refining proposals with management input, and closing deals.
  • Develop and maintain a professional network to support business growth and robust project management.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Regularly report to management on project status, operational issues, and compliance with targets and budgets.
  • Propose improvements to internal processes to enhance effectiveness and compliance.

People and Performance Management

  • Lead and develop the team by setting goals, managing workload, and facilitating professional development.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support team members in achieving career progression goals.

Stakeholder and Financial Management

  • Engage with various stakeholders including clients, bankers, and regulatory authorities to ensure project success and comprehensive support.
  • Manage financial objectives, ensuring adherence to cash flow targets and financial protocols.

Brand Representation and Inter-departmental Collaboration

  • Act as a Colliers ambassador, promoting the organization at conferences, through social media, and other platforms.
  • Work across departments to leverage cross-selling and value-added opportunities, promoting Colliers as the industry thought leader and preferred consultancy.

Competencies Required:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Real Estate preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years' experience in property development or consultancy, with experience in the Middle East.
  • Knowledge of Middle East economic conditions, development strategies, and real estate growth drivers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in report writing, use of AI, and advanced Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information, work flexibly, and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Understanding of regional business culture and regulations.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic fluency is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
