Position Title: Finance Supervisor - Payroll, VAT, and Corporate Tax

About the Client: A leading UAE firm driving urban development through investments in real estate, hospitality, leisure & retail, and transportation.

Job Description:

1. Supervise and manage the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and maintaining employee payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
2. Prepare and file monthly VAT returns, manage VAT payable/receivable across the tax group, and reconcile records between Almarina Holding and subsidiaries to ensure compliance and smooth process operations.
3. Stay up to date with payroll and VAT laws and regulations, responding to employee queries, ensuring compliance with tax obligations, and assisting with payroll audits.
4. Detect and evaluate VAT risks, providing support to subsidiaries for VAT-related queries and ensuring accurate financial accounting entries are made.

Requirements:

• Open to any nationalities - 45 years old and below.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/CMA certification preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles with a focus on payroll, VAT, and corporate tax.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing, VAT laws, and corporate tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
