Job Responsibilities
- Choosing tools, materials and processes to use in the construction project and tracking the inventory of those items
- Keeping daily employee logs and monitoring the conduct of Construction Workers and Contractors
- Ensuring that the construction project complies with all safety and building regulations
- Conducting an in-depth analysis of the project to develop the budget and deliverables
- Identifying, managing and mitigating risk factors to ensure the construction goes smoothly
- Working closely with Architects, Engineers, Contractors and clients to establish the requirements for the construction project
- Working with local authorities to obtain licenses and permits for the project
- Monitoring and reporting on the budget and timeline of the project
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction management, showcasing a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- Experience in the specific type of construction (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial) relevant to the projects managed.
- Excellent leadership abilities to inspire and motivate teams, ensuring high levels of performance and collaboration.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills, ensuring every aspect of the project is meticulously planned and executed.
- Physical stamina and the ability to navigate construction sites safely, demonstrating a commitment to personal and team safety.
