We are currently seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and providing information about our services. The Receptionist will also assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. Responsibilities

  1. Greet and check in patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
  2. Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary.
  3. Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, coordinating with healthcare providers as needed.
  4. Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records accurately in the system.
  5. Handle patient inquiries and provide basic information regarding services, payments, and general facility information.
  6. Maintain organized filing systems for patient records, forms, and other essential documents.
  7. Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and processing insurance claims.
  8. Ensure waiting areas and reception areas are clean, orderly, and well-maintained.
  9. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient flow and coordination of care.
  10. Follow all established protocols and procedures to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.

Minimum Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  3. Knowledge of medical terminology.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in using computer software and electronic health records.
