Equipment Setup and Operation
Assist in the setup and teardown of audio, lighting, and visual equipment according to production requirements.
Able to assist with the technical equipment setup and teardown during rehearsals and live performances, including soundboards, lighting consoles, and special effects devices.
Stage Support
Work closely with stage managers, directors, and fellow technicians to ensure smooth scene transitions and set changes.
Safely move props, scenery, and equipment on and off the stage during performances.
Maintenance and Repairs
Perform routine checks and maintenance on technical equipment and report any concerns to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in troubleshooting and addressing technical issues as they arise, both during rehearsals and live shows.
Safety and Compliance
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect the well-being of the cast, crew, and performers.
Safely handle and store equipment, props, and materials in accordance with safety standards.
Communication
Maintain effective communication with production teams, stage managers, and other crew members.
Follow cues and instructions accurately to ensure precise timing during performances.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good spoken and written English.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in live event production.
Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, time management, and cultural sensitivity skills.
Desirable Qualifications
Theater or live events background.
