VP of Engineering

In fact, I'll go as far to say that you'll struggle to find a better VP of Eng position in the entire Middle East.

• This stealth mode startup has a Founder that went through an incredibly high profile exit to one of the regions biggest and best tech businesses here in the MENA region.
• This product helps people in financial difficulty manage their cash to ensure that they aren't overspending without the stress of endless calculations in a spreadsheet.
• They deeply care about technology and place it at the heart of everything that they do. Yep, that's right, they're software geeks and they're absolutely proud of it.

So let's cut to the chase - here's what they're looking for:

• Someone with commercial experience of working in a 0-1 startup.
• Someone with a strong background in managing engineering teams of up to 20 people.
• Someone who started their career as a Software Engineer and has risen through the ranks over the years.
• Someone hungry to build a tech startup from scratch and to, hopefully, go through an exit in the next 3-5 years.
• Someone who already lives in Dubai and is familiar with the tech scene here.

Huge bonus points if you have Fintech experience, Java experience and still occasionally like getting your hands dirty with some good ol fashioned coding.

• A salary of 40k-55k DOE.
• Significant equity (I know this is hugely subjective but it's all we can share publicly for now).
• WFH day once per week (you can pick the day).
