Wood is recruiting for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. This is a full time office based role with business trips.

Key Objectives

• Contribute to the delivery of engineering excellence
• Definition and approval of technical scopes
• Executing assigned scopes of work
• Providing technical expertise to the business
• Contributing to business growth
• May manage and supervise teams or act as a technical specialist

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

• Assists in establishing project aims and outcomes
• Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes
• Makes recommendations on project organization requirements

Expected Qualifications, skills, and experience:

• B.S. or equivalent degree in the Engineering discipline from an accredited university
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years relevant experience in major Brownfield oil & gas projects, including at least five (5) years in a similar position.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

• Demonstrable ability to execute EPC and/or EPCM contracts for onshore Brownfield Oil & Gas projects
• Specific experience in executing lump sum Oil and Gas projects across their lifecycle in the GCC region, preferred.
