School Requirements:

• Education Required: Bachelor
• Minimum Teaching Experience: 2 years of teaching experience
• Major: Primary Education
• Required Certificates: Teaching Credential/License

Additional School Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or PG certificate in education
• Non-native English speakers must meet the relevant KHDA IELTS mandate
• MOE educator's license
• Desirable: 2 years of experience in an American curriculum school

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the subjects taught, including literacy, math, science, and social studies, aligned with educational standards.
• Lesson Planning: Ability to design engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
• Classroom Management: Skills in creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
• Differentiation: Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Proficient in assessing student progress through various methods, using data to inform instruction and provide feedback.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Social and Emotional Support: Understanding and addressing the social and emotional needs of students, fostering a supportive and caring classroom atmosphere.
• Collaboration: Working with other teachers, staff, and specialists to support student learning and well-being.
• Technology Integration: Familiarity with educational technology and resources to enhance learning and engage students in the digital age.
