Responsibilities
Design and work with in-game animation systems: state machines, pose matching
Creating body and facial rigs using DCC packages like Maya and Motion Builder
Work with in-engine procedural animation systems like physical assets
Work with Unreal control rig system
Scripting: Animation tools
Obtaining Lead Artist's guidance and approval as required to advance tasks
Contributing to the team-oriented environment.
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine
Advanced knowledge of Maya; Motion Builder will be a big plus
Strong understanding of Python or other .Net languages
AAA project experience in a technical animator position
Experience of working with in-game animation controlling systems like locomotion, climbing, and others
Experience of working with character infrastructure creation: character builder, prop managers, and others
Understanding facial animation systems based on FACS
Understanding object-oriented approach
Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team player attitude
Ability to receive constructive feedback.
