Job Description:

• Safely operate light vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations and road safety rules, ensuring passenger and cargo safety.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs and ensure optimal operating conditions.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption, adjusting routes as necessary based on real-time traffic updates.
• Maintain accurate logs of travel, including distances covered, fuel consumption, and any incidents, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Adhere to schedules and delivery timelines, demonstrating punctuality and reliability in every trip.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance by reporting any mechanical issues promptly and coordinating repairs when necessary.
• Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling techniques to prevent damage and injury.
• Stay updated on local road conditions, traffic laws, and safety regulations to enhance driving efficiency and safety.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of manual transmission vehicles, skillfully navigating varying terrains and driving conditions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Valid light vehicle driving license with a clean driving record, showcasing a commitment to safe driving practices.
• At least 2 years of experience driving light vehicles, preferably in a related industry such as delivery, transportation, or logistics.
• Proficiency in local language and basic English communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic repair skills to perform minor fixes and understand vehicle needs.
• Strong navigation skills, with familiarity using GPS systems and road maps for route planning.
• Excellent time management abilities, demonstrating punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Proactive and reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism in all driving assignments.
