Planning Manager

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Planning Manager to lead the Planning team in a Newly Awarded High Rise Tower Project in Dubai, UAE.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Taking the lead in the preparation of Baseline Programs, including loading of resources and costs, and defining activity codes using Primavera P6 software.
2. Updating and revising the Project Baseline Program as required.
3. Preparing Construction Programs, Working Programs, Recovery Programs, and Short Term Look Ahead Programs using Primavera P6 software.
4. Preparing various reporting formats and setting project reporting criteria.
5. Monitoring and controlling the progress of key activities under engineering, procurement, and construction phases; collecting data and updating Project Schedules using Primavera P6 Software.
6. Awareness of all critical issues affecting progress and reporting these in a timely manner to Project Management.
7. Coordinating and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
8. Coordinating and preparing Key Performance Indicators for all main trades/activities and cost centers as required.
9. Preparing, monitoring, and updating Resource and Cost Histograms.
10. Preparing Dashboard Reports.
11. Coordinating with fellow Departments for efficient collection and timely processing of accurate project information.
12. Representing the Project Planning Department with full exposure to the Client.
13. Preparing Extension of Time Programs using required analyzing methods with Primavera P6 software.
14. Improving the construction management knowledge of the planning and construction teams.
15. Leading the Project Planning Department and setting an example for the Project Planning Staff.
