MEP Coordinator

As a member of our Project Management Consultant (PMC) team, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of projects that contribute to Abu Dhabi's growth. This includes developing essential infrastructure like transportation networks and utilities, alongside public spaces that improve connectivity throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. You'll also play a role in shaping thriving communities by managing the development of residential housing projects and ensuring the quality of new educational facilities. Furthermore, your expertise will be crucial in overseeing the development of mosques and maximizing urban space through infill development projects. In short, this PMC role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on Abu Dhabi's built environment.
Main Responsibilities

1. Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to the team.
2. Ensure the design aligns with client requirements, and is in compliance with current UAE legislation, industry standards, and specifications where appropriate.
3. Manage all aspects of the MEP design production process to ensure the overall design is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of program’s strategic objectives.
4. Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to manage the design and its approval, across the project stakeholders.
5. Assist the Senior Design Manager in the preparation of a detailed project plan, as part of the Project Management Plan, for the MEP design phases of the program.
6. Manage the day-to-day MEP design monitoring activities and resources and actively participate in the design team meetings.
7. Ensure that all MEP design related project KPIs, targets, directions, and instructions are communicated to all relevant project stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
8. Coordinate between other disciplines.
9. Provide status reporting regarding MEP design milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership.
10. Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections, and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.
