Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MENA Business Sustainability Senior Associate to join our Business Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility function in Dubai. This role is pivotal in supporting and advancing our sustainability initiatives and programs, ensuring EY operates as a sustainable business. Additionally, the role involves supporting the Ripples team with the Accelerating Environmental Sustainability initiatives and programs by executing these programs and building relationships with various stakeholders to deliver these programs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and support the execution of sustainability initiatives and programs within the MENA region, focusing on environmental sustainability.
2. Collaborate with the Ripples team to accelerate environmental sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with EY’s global sustainability goals.
3. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and community organizations, to support the delivery of sustainability programs.
4. Conduct research and analysis on sustainability trends and best practices, providing insights and recommendations to enhance EY’s sustainability efforts.
5. Develop and implement strategies to integrate sustainability into EY’s operations and business practices.
6. Coordinate with various departments to ensure sustainability initiatives are effectively communicated and adopted across the organization.
7. Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
8. Participate in sustainability forums, workshops, and conferences to represent EY and stay updated on industry developments.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Sustainability
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility, or a related field.
3. Demonstrated experience in executing sustainability programs and initiatives.
4. Strong understanding of sustainability practices and trends, particularly in the MENA region.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
