Cloud Operations Engineer

Role Type: Outsourced, Full Time, Long Term, On-Site

Language requirement: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Contract: Standard 2 years

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations or a related role.

Cloud Computing: Proficiency with public clouds such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Alibaba Cloud.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Linux, databases (MySQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus.
• Experience with high availability design, observability, and operational processes.
• Preferred: Prior experience in project management, product management, or knowledge of app development/client-side technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage public cloud resources including servers, networks, databases, and container clusters.
2. Ensure optimal performance and security of cloud-based infrastructure.
3. Monitor and maintain the stability of our connected vehicle platform applications.
4. Implement measures to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
5. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, issue resolution, emergency response, and technical support.
6. Document and report on all maintenance activities and incidents.
7. Contribute to the development and refinement of operational workflows and best practices.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
9. Respond promptly to system outages or performance issues.
10. Conduct thorough investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
11. Provide technical assistance and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
12. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements.
