Job Description: The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events to meet client specifications. They coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all event details are handled properly. The Event Coordinator also manages event budgets, oversees setup and teardown, and resolves any issues that may arise during events.
Responsibilities:
Meet with clients to determine event requirements and objectives.
Source and negotiate with vendors to secure event services and supplies.
Develop event budgets and monitor expenses.
Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
Manage event timelines and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Handle any on-site issues or emergencies during events.
Evaluate event success and provide recommendations for improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
Proven experience in event coordination or similar roles.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
