Editing and proofreading, ensuring the bid is free from errors and adheres to the tender requirements and aligns with our overall brand standards and key strategic messaging
Managing multiple proposals simultaneously to meet tight deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably within the construction industry
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation
Ability to understand and interpret complex technical information
Familiarity with construction industry standards and practices
Project and Time Management
Deadline Adherence: Managing multiple bids and ensuring that each submission is completed on time, within scope, and to the required standards.
Prioritization: Effectively prioritizing tasks and managing competing deadlines across various proposals to ensure that each project is completed without compromising on quality.
Document Management: Keeping track of all documents, templates, and materials used in the bid process, ensuring easy access for future proposals or revisions.
Technical Understanding and Industry Knowledge
Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the relevant industry, whether it’s construction, IT, healthcare, engineering, or another sector, to ensure the proposal aligns with industry-specific expectations and terminology.
Product or Service Knowledge: Understanding the company’s products, services, and capabilities in order to accurately present them in the proposal, ensuring the bid clearly demonstrates the company’s strengths.
Risk Management: Identifying potential risks within the bid and addressing them in the proposal, providing reassurance to the client that the company can effectively manage any challenges that may arise during project execution.

Technical Writing: Translating complex technical or industry-specific information into easily understandable and persuasive content, ensuring that the proposal is both accurate and accessible to a range of audiences.
Structure and Formatting: Structuring proposals logically and ensuring the document adheres to any specific formats, guidelines, or templates required by the client or organization.
Tailoring Proposals: Customizing bid documents to meet the unique requirements of each client and project, while maintaining consistency in style and messaging across multiple proposals.
Understanding of the Bid Process: Understanding the tendering or bidding process, including how to respond to requests for proposals (RFPs), invitations to tender (ITTs), and other types of formal submissions.
Compliance: Ensuring that all requirements outlined in the RFP or tender are met, including legal, technical, and financial stipulations.
Deadline Management: Working under tight deadlines to submit bids on time, managing timelines, and ensuring that the entire team involved in the proposal process meets their respective deadlines.
Research and Analysis: Thoroughly researching the client’s needs, challenges, and objectives in order to tailor the bid and proposal to address these requirements effectively.
Competitor Analysis: Understanding the competitive landscape and positioning the company’s offering in a way that highlights its unique strengths and advantages over competitors.
Market Research: Conducting research on industry trends, best practices, and relevant case studies to support the proposal and demonstrate industry expertise.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Working closely with various departments, such as sales, project management, legal, finance, and technical teams, to gather the necessary information, data, and content to craft a strong proposal.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicating effectively with senior leadership and subject matter experts to ensure the proposal is aligned with the company’s capabilities, values, and strategic objectives.
