Key Responsibilities

1. Perform installations, commissioning, and maintenance of low and medium voltage systems, including switchgear and transformers.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using advanced tools such as FLIR thermal cameras and Megger insulation testers.
3. Conduct system testing and certification in compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, NFPA).
4. Manage on-site resources and tools to ensure timely and efficient task completion.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve technical challenges.
6. Prepare concise technical reports for documentation and client communication.

Must-Have Skills

Hard Skills:

1. Expertise in power distribution systems and testing equipment.
2. Strong understanding of compliance and safety standards (NFPA 70E, IEC 60364).
3. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.

Soft Skills:

1. Problem-solving abilities for on-site challenges.
2. Effective communication for team collaboration and client interaction.
3. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Good-to-Have Skills

Hard Skills:

1. Basic knowledge of ETAP or similar power analysis software.

Additional Requirements

1. Location Flexibility: Candidates must be able to commute easily to the office in Al Qusais Industrial Area and be willing to work across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
2. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Industrial Electrotechnical Technician is required.
3. Languages: Proficiency in any of the following languages is welcomed: English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Tagalog, or Afrikaans.
4. Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
5. Visa Preference: Candidates on a spouse visa are preferred; however, visa sponsorship can be facilitated for eligible candidates.
6. Transportation: Preference will be given to candidates with their own vehicle.
