Scope of the Role:
- Responsible for clarifying sales queries and on-time submittal of quotes in consultation and coordination with the sales team.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Graduate with 5-8 years of experience in sales coordination work, preferably from the construction/plastic piping industry.
- Knowledge about UAE contractors and consultants is preferable.
- Customer service orientation is a must.
- Good communication and networking skills.
Job Profile:
- Helps the sales team improve their productivity by contacting customers, filing all relevant documents, and communicating relevant information.
- Arranges all up-to-date support materials for the sales team.
- Attends to all customer queries, informs customers on material availability and tentative lead time for delivery.
- Records all sales queries and responds within lead time.
- Prepares and sends sales quotations based on the sales query as per lead time.
- Follows up on the quotations sent, records customer interactions, and generates inquiries with a conversion rate of a minimum of 50%.
- Validates quotes with respect to the query before sending.
- Prepares proforma invoices on approval of quotes from customers, gets them approved, and sends them to customers.
- Receives LPO, collects all documents as per the credit policy of the company, and follows up for advance payments/cheques, etc.
- Releases the LPO for order processing as per the schedule committed to the customer.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently.
- Develops and maintains filing systems to maintain sales records, prepare reports, and provide financial information to the finance department.
- Ensures adherence to laws, regulations, and policies.
- Prepares all related reports and updates the sales team and management.
- Sales order processing and getting approval from the credit control team.
- Follows up with the planning/operations team for the delivery schedule and communicates with the customers.
- Follows up with the customers for the cheque copy prior to delivery.
- Picklist preparation and delivery coordination.
- Coordination with the customer/salesmen/internal team for samples, submittals, etc.
