Job description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Technical Sales Engineer at 3Distica. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, communicating the benefits and features of our products, and driving sales. You will also work closely with other departments to develop and implement sales strategies and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and Target Clients: Research and identify potential clients who can benefit from our products.
  • Develop a strategic approach to expand our customer base.
  • Understand client needs and offer customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and develop product proposals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clients.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and close deals.
  • Provide ongoing customer support and maintain client relationships.
  • Stay updated on our product offerings, technical specifications, and industry trends.
  • Explain complex technical features to clients during live demonstrations.
  • Expand sales territories by networking with potential clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (engineering, production, and marketing) to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Provide feedback to improve product offerings based on client interactions.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (optional).
  • A must-have proven experience in technical sales positions in the same industry.
  • Experience with custom manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Strong technical acumen to understand and explain product features.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to break down technical terminology for clients.
  • Analytical mindset to address client challenges effectively.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to tailor solutions to specific needs.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Passion for building long-lasting client relationships.
