Staff Nurse - Pediatric ward

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Pediatric Ward team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in a supportive and family-centered environment. Your expertise will play a crucial role in promoting health, preventing illness, and supporting the recovery of our young patients.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients upon admission and throughout their stay.
2. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
4. Monitor for side effects and therapeutic responses.
5. Regularly monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status of patients.
6. Document patient progress and changes in condition accurately.
7. Work closely with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
8. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
9. Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including administering CPR and other life-saving measures as needed.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
2. Valid UAE License or eligibility.
3. Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certification.
4. Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Pediatric Ward Nursing.
