Job Description:

Location: Work from home

Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:

1. Develop a robust data governance framework tailored to the unique needs of a data lakehouse environment.
2. Define roles, responsibilities, and processes to manage data assets effectively.
3. Ensure data quality and consistency by implementing data quality standards and practices.
4. Establish data security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PDPL, LAW 45 etc).
5. Develop and enforce data access controls and privacy policies to safeguard data assets.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related role, preferably with experience in data lakehouse environments.
2. Strong understanding of data governance principles, practices, and frameworks.
3. Experience with data security, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
4. Proficiency in data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage tools.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
