Job Title: Recruitment Specialist
Job Description:
Responsible for connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications, and supporting hiring managers.
Responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
Identifies future hiring needs and develops job descriptions and specifications.
Collaborates with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
Creates and publishes job ads in various portals.
Networks with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events.
Takes ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it, developing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
Screens resumes and job applications.
Conducts initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
Interviews candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior, and executive).
Tracks hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire.
Designs, distributes, and measures the results of candidate experience surveys.
Trains and advises hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods.
Follows up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Maintains a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
Completes paperwork for new hires.
Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring safe systems of work and safe conditions are in place within the area of responsibility.
Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.
Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
Experience:
2 years of recruiting experience preferred.
