Inventory Control Officer

GreatWater Garages has an amazing, full-time opening at our shop support center located at 161 Ottawa Ave. NW, Suite 401, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 for an IT Intern. We are looking for an IT Intern that will maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. You will also train users on the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure. We view this internship as an opportunity to identify talented individuals who could potentially join our team in the future.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working towards Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IS, IT, or a related field is preferred
• Strong interest in help desk, computers networks, and computer systems maintenance

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to make effective decisions
• Ability to function in a dynamic environment where customer needs and company priorities can change quickly
• Ability to shift priorities quickly while maintaining visibility and control of existing priorities, initiatives, and resources
• Ability to solve technical problems in potentially stressful situations
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Must have a strong relational and service-oriented approach to interactions with others
• Must be willing to seek ongoing knowledge and skills for new applications, hardware, and tools required to support our dynamic business
