Job Description

Job Title: Heavy Machinery Mechanic(Automobile)

Location: HATTA, United Arab Emirates

Job Description: Hatta Pumped Storage Hydro Power Plant - Heavy Machinery Mechanic.

Project Duration: 3 Months (Mission visa will be provided)

Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience with heavy-duty equipment and proficiency in working with auto engines for trucks like Mercedes, Caterpillar, etc.
• Equipment in our fleet: dozer, tipper truck, excavator, backhoe loader, etc.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of heavy-duty equipment including dozers, tipper trucks, excavators, backhoe loaders, and other machinery.
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the equipment.
• Repair and overhaul diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and other critical systems.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, services, and parts used to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements in equipment performance and efficiency.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
• Provide technical guidance and support to operators on the safe and efficient use of the machinery.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a heavy machinery mechanic, preferably with exposure to equipment like dozers, excavators, and tipper trucks.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Ability to use various specialized tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to work in a challenging environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy machinery.
