Job description

Lean is growing rapidly and seeking an extremely motivated individual to play a key role in further growing the business in the MENA region. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospecting leads via outbound activities, qualifying opportunities, delivering product demos, converting deals to paying clients to handing over your deals to our implementation and customer success teams. You will work with a variety of companies from early-stage startups to enterprise clients across different industries.

Our products have garnered the trust of leading companies and enabled them to deliver powerful experiences when connected with a user's bank account, allowing users to perform prudent financial planning, get better rates on loans, transfer money to friends, and more, without compromising on privacy or security.

Some of Lean's clients include the likes of Binance, Etisalat Group, Careem, Sarwa, and many more, making it the region's most valuable Open Banking platform. The company has now processed hundreds of millions of dollars, and its products are also connected with hundreds of thousands of accounts. Lean envisions a fully inclusive financial ecosystem that serves everyone, no matter where they bank or live in the MENAP region.

Responsibilities

  1. Generate new revenue growth in UAE by selling existing and future Lean products.
  2. Own the entire sales cycle from qualification to close and handover to Integration and Customer Success teams.
  3. Develop relationships with company leaders from multiple functions (e.g., Technical, Product, and Operations).
  4. Build and manage a robust pipeline of new and expansion business that will support quarterly and annual goals.
  5. Be the voice of the client in internal product discussions, and influence future product features and developments.
  6. Measure and report on success metrics to define sales best practices.

What we’re looking for

  1. B2B Sales experience within a SaaS company is essential (fintech preferred).
  2. Proven track record of consistently overachieving individual targets and revenue goals.
  3. Outstanding relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  4. A structured sales approach and experience using a CRM tool.
  5. Proven sales methodology and the ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements.
  6. Strong English language skills are a must, Arabic is highly desirable.
