The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and implementing brand strategies, conducting market research, managing the brand portfolio, and ensuring alignment with the Company's objectives. This role involves collaborating with different departments and educating them on the product details and applications, managing brand budgets, and driving sales targets while maintaining brand integrity and competitive positioning in the market.
Responsibilities
Study the brand portfolio and conduct market research to identify market positioning and potential opportunities.
Develop and implement a comprehensive route-to-market strategy.
Create and maintain brand strategy aligned with the Company's objectives and develop the marketing calendar and associated budget, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and secure necessary approvals.
Conduct continuous updates of brand portfolio presentations and marketing materials.
Monitor competitors' activities and prepare proactive marketing measures.
Analyze market trends to identify new product developments and improvement opportunities.
Develop and issue brand analysis reports to support decision-making on brand performance, including sales achievement, budget spending, growth, and contribution analysis.
Communicate with sales teams updates related to brand portfolio, strategy, and budgets.
Maintain timely contact and alignment with brand suppliers for continuous updates and strategy alignment.
Ensure effective communication with the sales team, supporting them in presenting new products to clients.
Collaborate with the Marketing department for digital marketing and social media strategies.
Responsible for achieving sales targets and developing promotions within company policy.
Identify potential markets and clients in coordination with District, Branch, or National Sales Managers.
Support sales team presentations, opening orders, and marketing efforts.
Monitor customer feedback to measure satisfaction and improve product offerings.
Prepare merchandising plans and assist the merchandising team in implementing plans and standards.
Plan, organize, and execute all brand-related events and product launches.
Ensure all new products are distributed and displayed as per company standards.
Manage, coach, train, and mentor assigned team members.
Set brand guidelines, coach, and control their implementation.
Maintain daily monitoring of brand sales and stock levels, issuing alerts and taking necessary actions.
Generate and follow up on daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Ensure spending is within approved limits and budget targets are met.
Ensure sufficient stock levels and supplies before launching new brands.
Ensure proper execution of approved marketing plans, including product launches and relaunches.
Conduct regular market visits to ensure effective implementation of planned activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as a Brand Manager or similar role.
Strong analytical skills and market research capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for market analysis and reporting.
Ability to manage budgets and achieve sales targets.
