Education: Qualified candidates will possess, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical discipline. Preferred candidates will have equivalent experience and supervisory experience.
Experience:
Technical knowledge, education, and experience are required.
Proficient knowledge and business use of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Understand and operate product testing equipment.
Understand, interpret, and develop technical standards.
Previous technical writing experience and proficiency, including written technical reports, is preferred.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions.
Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions, extreme cold (non-weather), extreme heat (non-weather), risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate or loud.
