Job description

Project Overview:

The Mozambique Rovuma LNG Phase 1 Project is aimed at development of the Mozambique Area 4 fields. Area 4 is comprised of an Upstream (Offshore Subsea) component, and a Midstream (Liquified Natural Gas [LNG] Plant) component. The Area 4 plot space in Afungi is adjacent to the Area 1 plot space operated by TotalEnergies, with some portions of the overall plot space being shared. Gas produced from Area 4 reservoirs shall be collected and transported from deepwater subsea wells to Afungi through a network of subsea pipelines and manifolds. The gas shall be received at the LNG Plant, and then treated, liquefied, and stored. The Phase 1 development of the project shall consist of 12 LNG liquefaction units based upon Chart's IPSMR process technology, each with ~1.5 MTA design capacity, divided into 2 x 9 MTA trains, for a total of 18 MTA nominal annual average capacity. Pre-treatment, Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) regeneration, and other applicable process units are designed in similarly repeatable units, while being able to support stable operations at reduced rates, potentially as low as a single liquefier (1.5 MTA).
