Lead, inspire and motivate store teams to achieve top line target and front end margins.
Monitor and review all store activities against pre-determined targets that are set as per the AOP including productivity increase & improving efficiency.
Check the display and merchandising of stock (e.g. correctness of price ticket).
Ensure that the prices changes are updated and reflected correctly on the merchandise.
Ensure the store is operating as an independent profit center focusing on closely managing both the sales and the expenditure of the store.
Ensure that the stocks/merchandise are received on time at the floor from inventory.
Control and reduce shrinkage. Check security of merchandise on floor by conducting PI counts on a regular basis and variance reconciliation.
Ensure display logic and implementation of planogram and ensure the functionality of display merchandise.
Track the conversion rates at the department level/individual level.
Handle and resolve escalated customer complaints and queries.
Track and resolve queries pertaining to returns from customer care, location transfer of merchandise/SKUs, Brand Promise and customer deliveries.
Monitor product availability for any in-store promotions and campaigns, reporting any shortfalls to the area manager.
Train & plan succession of team members.
Communicate and submit reports on productivity, roster, leave planning, etc., in a timely manner.
Check staff grooming/discipline and punctuality.
Adhere to the checklists and processes (staff discount policy, store opening/closing, etc.).
Requirements
Experience (Yrs & Field): 5+ Yrs of experience in Retail Sales including 1 year of people management. Educational Qualification: Preferably Graduate. Professional Certifications: Retail Management. Skills & Abilities: Customer Focus, Result Orientation, Team Work, Leading People, Communication, Business Acumen, Problem Solving.
