Food Runner (Female)

We are looking for an experienced Food Runner (Female) to join our client's private company in Abu Dhabi.

As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for delivering food to the appropriate table at the right time and helping customers with any issues that may arise. You should also be organizing and sorting food tickets as required.

Your primary goal will be to provide excellent customer satisfaction. You should possess outstanding communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Additionally, good physical stamina and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests and providing them with food menus.
• Explaining the various food items available to guests.
• Suggesting food and drink items based on guest preferences.
• Delivering food to guests in a timely fashion.
• Lifting trays, plates, and glasses professionally.
• Addressing customer questions and complaints.
• Refilling customers' drinks as requested.
• Inspecting food orders for accuracy.
• Ensuring food looks presentable before delivery.
• Clearing and cleaning tables and bringing soiled dishes to the kitchen.
• Helping set tables before service.
• Handling spontaneous guest requests.
• Following sanitation procedures in accordance with regulations.
• Assisting kitchen staff with closing duties.
• Reporting unsafe acts, conditions, or injuries to the Manager.

Requirements:

• MUST BE WILLING TO STAY IN COMPANY-PROVIDED ACCOMMODATION.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working experience as a Food Runner or a similar role in the Hospitality industry.
• Professional certification as a Food Runner is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of banquet set-ups.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.
• Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to complete tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willingness to work flexibly, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
