Our client, a leading company in Abu Dhabi, is looking for a Human Resources Officer.
Job Responsibilities:
Co-ordinates with department heads for their recruitment requests and filling of vacant positions (as per approved manpower plan).
Sources CVs for vacant positions via recruitment agencies, advertisements, etc. and shortlists the appropriate ones.
Administers aptitude tests for non-managerial positions and forwards the results to HR & Administration Manager for further action.
Facilitates technical interviews for the short-listed candidates and ensures the process is carried out smoothly.
Conducts reference and background checks for selected candidates.
Facilitates induction and onboarding of new employees.
Facilitates onboarding of new employees including coordinating for travel and accommodation arrangements.
Reviews and approves employee leave requests.
Updates payroll database with allowances eligibility and processes standard allowances on a monthly basis.
Facilitates claim approval process for employees and ensures they are approved as per policy and in a timely manner.
Facilitates employee appraisal process and compiles performance ratings and recommendations for promotions, internal transfers, and salary increments.
Conducts upward feedback program on a periodic basis.
Consolidates results of Employee Satisfaction Survey.
Executes training programs including developing and updating training calendar, finalizing training dates, inviting nominations, and distributing training material.
Reviews suggestions from training feedback and develops action plan.
Co-ordinates with employees for termination-related procedures such as retirement dates, resignation letters, etc.
Prepares various HR-related letters such as Employment Offer Letters, Regret Letters, Employment Contracts, Employment Confirmation Letters, Probation Extension Letters, Termination Letters, etc. in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensures all requests pertaining to salary certificates, addressed to Banks and Consulates, are prepared and issued in a timely and accurate manner.
Conducts periodic checks of employees' files to ensure that all files and their respective documents are present.
Reviews and consolidates employee business travel requests for consistency and accuracy and facilitates travel arrangements.
Arranges business travel, accommodation, and visa of employees and communicates the same to the employees.
