Draftsman

Job Responsibilities

1. Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
2. Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate concepts into precise drawings that reflect design intent and functionality.
3. Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring all modifications are accurately documented.
4. Maintain organized project files and documentation, including revisions and version control for all drafts.
5. Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess existing conditions that inform drafting work.
6. Implement best practices in drafting techniques, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
7. Support project management by providing timely updates on drafting progress and anticipated challenges.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Fit out and Joinery.
2. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks, essential for creating intricate designs.
3. Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to drafting, ensuring compliance in all projects.
4. Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting, critical for producing high-quality technical documents.
5. Ability to effectively communicate technical information both verbally and in writing, facilitating collaboration.
6. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex designs and translate them into actionable drafting plans.
