Job Description

A Rehabilitation Consultant is responsible for assessing and providing rehabilitation services to patients with physical, cognitive, or psychosocial disabilities. They work with patients to develop personalized treatment plans and provide therapy to improve their ability to perform daily activities and regain independence. Rehabilitation Consultants collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists, to achieve the best outcomes for patients. They also provide education and support to patients and their families to ensure a successful rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities and functional limitations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals.
• Provide therapy and rehabilitation services to patients, including exercises and therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate and support patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and strategies.
• Maintain documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in rehabilitation.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation sciences, occupational therapy, or a related field.
• Proven experience in providing rehabilitation services.
• Strong knowledge of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
