Procurement Engineer

• Manage the procurement process for EPC Contracting company’s materials and equipment.
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with project goals.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to determine material requirements for ongoing projects.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders as needed to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Ensure compliance with Clients requirements, company policies, quality standards, and relevant regulations during the procurement process.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry; experience with MEP materials is essential.
• Proven track record of successful negotiations with suppliers.
• Strong understanding of construction processes related to MEP systems.
• Excellent analytical skills combined with attention to detail for data analysis/reporting purposes.
• Proficient in procurement software tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong communication skills (both verbal & written) in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
