Male Learning Support Assistant – Adult with Autism

Introduction:
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and qualified Male Learning Support Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide one-to-one support to an autistic adult, ensuring their needs are met in various settings (home, community activities).
2. Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, communication, and social interaction.
3. Support the development of life skills and independence through structured activities.
4. Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
5. Work closely with the individual’s family, caregivers, and professionals to ensure consistent support.
6. Implement individualized learning and support plans tailored to the individual’s strengths and challenges.
7. Document progress and provide regular feedback to supervisors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a related role working with people of determination.
• A degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the diverse needs of students with disabilities, including Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, and other developmental disorders.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication (Fluent in English) and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
