The CNC Cutting Machine Operators are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC cutting machines, including Laser, Waterjet, Turret Punching, Plasma machines etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming, machine operation, and safety procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Set up and operate CNC cutting machines according to job specifications and work orders.
Load and unload materials onto the machines.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of production output and machine downtime.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production flow.
Qualifications:
Diploma, Vocational Diploma in Mechanical, Sheet Metal or Technical Trade from an accredited program.
4-5 years of Proven experience operating sheet metal processing machines in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Proficiency in using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Knowledge of material properties and cutting parameters.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
