CNC Cutting Machine Operators

Job Description:

The CNC Cutting Machine Operators are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC cutting machines, including Laser, Waterjet, Turret Punching, Plasma machines etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming, machine operation, and safety procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Set up and operate CNC cutting machines according to job specifications and work orders.
• Load and unload materials onto the machines.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production output and machine downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production flow.

Qualifications:

• Diploma, Vocational Diploma in Mechanical, Sheet Metal or Technical Trade from an accredited program.
• 4-5 years of Proven experience operating sheet metal processing machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Knowledge of material properties and cutting parameters.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
