Mechanical Site Engineer
Job description
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Overseeing and managing all mechanical activities on site.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve any technical issues.
- Planning and scheduling mechanical activities to meet project deadlines.
- Monitoring and inspecting the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Conducting regular site visits to assess progress and quality of work.
- Identifying and resolving any design or construction conflicts.
- Reviewing and approving material and equipment submittals.
- Providing technical support and guidance to site staff and subcontractors.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records of all mechanical activities and inspections.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical site engineering in the construction industry.
- Professional certification in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to perform site visits and inspections.
