Now we are looking for a Project Manager/Heavy Lift Manager (Industrial Project Logistics Department) in our branch in Abu Dhabi!

Responsibilities:

1. To coordinate a seamless flow of cargo from the point of contractual origin to destination;
2. To verify and evaluate the technical suitability of the proposed method of transport;
3. To review, study, and then implement an action plan on the conditions contained therein;
4. Providing the relevant expert knowledge across solutions and logistics industry;
5. To attend and chair project progress meetings, meetings at Client’s, the Seller’s / Supplier’s facilities, Consolidation and Marshalling Yards, Job Site or other locations to discuss forthcoming shipping operations and logistical planning;
6. To manage, oversee and audit where necessary all staff, sub-contractors, and their interface.

Requirements:

1. Deep knowledge of transport and freight forwarding industry;
2. Experience in Project management in the logistics industry and project cargo transportation (min. 5 years);
3. Experience with projects in the Middle East region;
4. Higher education – economy/ marketing/ finance/ management/ logistics/ transport;
5. Excellent knowledge of English;
6. Proved organizational skills, leadership qualities;
7. Exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills;
8. Strategic thinking, proactivity, and responsibility;
9. Good team-working competences.
