Trading Operations Analyst

Aquanow is looking for a well-rounded candidate to join the global trading team at our Dubai office. The trading operation team provides global 24/7 coverage for our clients and is responsible for timely and accurate service for our traded products. As a Trading Operation Analyst, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the operations of a financial services firm. You will help the company to operate more efficiently by supporting critical business functions and identifying opportunities to streamline processes.

What you will be doing

1. Respond to client queries in a timely manner with the utmost professionalism and in accordance with company policies/guidelines.
2. Manage and record client requests through our internal ticketing tool.
3. Ensure client-facing activities are routed quickly and efficiently, and escalated when necessary.
4. Guide clients on troubleshooting, provide product information, solve common problems and setup issues.
5. Work closely with various internal partners and teams in different regions when necessary.
6. Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
7. Preparation of internal and client facing reports and presentations.
8. Ad-hoc projects and tasks.

Requirements

1. This posting requires the candidate to work weekend coverage periods (Sat & Sun); two other days off will be provided in lieu instead (Mon/Tue or Thurs/Sat).
2. As part of a predefined schedule, it is expected you may work on weekends and public holidays as required.
3. Scheduling will be provided with advance notification, and any changes will be clearly communicated.
4. After on-site training period is complete, hybrid/remote work can be arranged in coordination with your team and manager.
5. You are legally authorized to work and reside in United Arab Emirates.

What you will need to succeed

1. Flexible schedule and the ability to work holidays and weekends.
2. Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, etc.).
3. Analytical skills and the ability to think through problems.
4. Positive attitude with high aptitude to learn new things.
5. Team player with capacity to work in an unstructured work environment.
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office, VBA, et al.
7. Basic programming experience and interested in developing these skills.
