Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electronic Technician to manage, operate, and troubleshoot software systems and maintain associated hardware at on-site locations. The role involves ensuring optimal functionality of electronic systems, interfacing with software applications, and performing routine and corrective maintenance on equipment. The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy, adaptable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor specialized software systems used for equipment diagnostics, control, or operation.
- Perform software updates, backups, and configuration adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in real time, ensuring uninterrupted system functionality.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electronic systems and components to prevent failures.
- Diagnose and repair faults in hardware, such as circuit boards, sensors, or connectors.
- Ensure proper calibration of electronic equipment to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Replace worn-out or defective components with minimal downtime.
- Document test results and report any inconsistencies to supervisors or engineers.
- Provide on-site support to clients or end-users to ensure smooth operation of systems.
Requirements
Education: Diploma or associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years in operating and maintaining electronic systems and software applications.
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting software for equipment diagnostics and control.
- Hands-on experience with electronic hardware such as sensors, actuators, and wiring.
- Strong understanding of system integration between hardware and software.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and methods for identifying hardware and software faults.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documenting issues and coordinating with team members.
Work Environment:
- On-site at industrial, commercial, or outdoor locations, potentially involving exposure to noise, temperature variations, or confined spaces.
- Frequent use of diagnostic software and tools, requiring concentration and attention to detail.
