• Courier vacancy in Sharjah UAE for unskilled workers

Job Title: Courier (Sharjah, 1600 AED)

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; some college-level courses in logistics and/or transportation may be preferred.
2. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
3. Valid UAE driving license.
4. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg).
5. Must be able to navigate using GPS.
6. Good customer service skills and the ability to stay organized under pressure.
7. Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of Arabic language is a plus.

Duties:

1. Collect packages from customers and deliver them on time across Sharjah according to assigned routes.
2. Load cargo into delivery vehicles, ensuring proper distribution for safe transport.
3. Maintain vehicle logs, records of cargo, and other delivery documents as needed.
4. Adhere to safety rules while handling packages; take appropriate precautions during deliveries in risky areas or with fragile items.
5. Complete daily reports regarding deliveries made, mileage covered, fuel consumption, etc., and submit them promptly to management team for review.
6. Provide excellent customer service at all times; respond promptly to inquiries from customers regarding delivery status or any other related concerns they may have with their orders.
