Our client, a renowned firm, is currently seeking a Legal Secretary for their Abu Dhabi office. This role involves collaborating closely with the Compliance department to manage various legal and administrative affairs.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure documents are appropriately filed and readily available by organizing and maintaining files.
Handle incoming and outgoing communications including emails, letters, and phone calls.
Manage calendars by setting up meetings, deadlines, and appointments.
Assist in department and practice research tasks.
Assist with billing and administrative tasks (collating bills, processing invoices, drafting narratives, and creating cover letters).
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements
To be considered, you should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or diplomas in legal studies can also be beneficial.
Previous experience working as a legal secretary or in a similar role within an international law firm.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Above average typing speed.
Strong organizational skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Currently in UAE and willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
