Overall responsible for all commercial activities including sales and business development within Momentum Logistics and extensively in the Geographical region of Dubai and Jebel Ali.
Responsibilities:
Identifies value drivers of the business and profitable business opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
Establishes and implements the company’s strategy and plan to promote revenue, profitability, and growth.
Drives and monitors company’s sales in the local market to deliver or exceed budget volumes and revenues.
Coordinates and liaises closely with parent company’s sales to ensure synergies between parent company and subsidiary company are capitalized on.
Responsible for management and enhancement of annual Customer Satisfaction Survey of companies and suppliers.
Ensures adherence to CRM system.
Creates profitable relationships with key customers/ target audience to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained and developed.
Identifies and evaluates the risks of any new business development opportunities to the Company by evaluating their external and internal factors.
Collates and analyses business data pertaining to business activities.
Conducts analysis of existing signed contracts for the purpose of quality improvement.
Ownership of all commercial tenders to coordinate relevant inputs (including pricing) from relevant operations, quality, insurance, and legal team members.
Ensures that all health and safety protocols are enforced and observed in all Company’s activities in order to protect the employees and the public.
Complies with all applicable laws and relevant industry standards of practice and commits to the continuous improvement of HSE management practices.
Provides strong visible commitment, leadership, and personal involvement in health, safety, and the environment and makes available the resources necessary to achieve our HSE objectives.
Maintaining and overseeing pipeline of opportunities across the company’s business activities.
Monthly reporting of relevant commercial activities for MBR & QBR purposes.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
B.Sc./B.A Degree or equivalent in Business Management
Related Work Experience:
3-4 years experience in a customer-facing role within the Shipping/ Freight Forwarding industries.
Proven track record in the local market.
Proven ability to lead a team of 4 sales executives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
In-depth product knowledge of relevant business activities.
